Privacy
Short version: we store the least we can get away with, we do not sell it, and your files delete themselves.
What we store
| Your email address | To sign you in and to send you notices about your own links. Verified by a one-time code; we never store a password. |
| Your files | Until they expire or you delete them. Held in Cloudflare R2. |
| Link details | Name, size, file count, expiry, and a count of visits. |
| Viewer addresses | For a link that requires an email, the addresses that opened it, visible to whoever owns that link and to nobody else. |
| Passkeys | A public key only, if you choose to add one. It cannot be used to sign in anywhere else. |
| Payments | Handled by Stripe. We never see or store card details. |
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent your data to anyone.
- We do not use advertising or analytics trackers on shared links.
- We do not read, scan, or profile the contents of your uploads.
- We do not email you marketing you did not ask for. Notices are about your own links.
Email we send
Codes, an upload receipt, a note when someone first opens your link, expiry reminders, and account notices. Some of these carry a clearly labelled sponsored message, which funds the free tier. You can reduce optional notices in your account, and closing your account stops everything except legally required mail.
Deletion
Every link expires on its own and is then removed. You can delete one sooner from My links. Closing your account deletes your uploads; the account record is kept only so you can reactivate it, and you can ask us to erase it entirely.
Who processes your data
Cloudflare provides hosting, storage, and email delivery. Stripe processes payments. Both act as our processors under contract. Data may be handled outside your country of residence, including in the United States.

Filyhost es operado por una persona física con actividad empresarial en México. Los datos personales que recabamos (su dirección de correo electrónico y los datos de uso descritos arriba) se utilizan únicamente para prestar el servicio, autenticar su cuenta y enviarle avisos sobre sus propios enlaces. No se transfieren a terceros con fines de mercadotecnia.
Usted puede ejercer sus derechos de acceso, rectificación, cancelación y oposición (derechos ARCO), así como revocar su consentimiento, escribiendo a hello@filyhost.com. Responderemos en los plazos previstos por la Ley Federal de Protección de Datos Personales en Posesión de los Particulares.
Your rights
Wherever you are, you can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@filyhost.com and we will act on it.

Changes
If this policy changes in a way that affects you, we will say so by email before it takes effect.
