Most comparisons pretend two products are the same thing with different prices. These two are not.
A portfolio, a landing page, a PDF you hand out for years. It gives you your own domain, analytics, a password, edits in place, a team, and a free link that never expires as long as you log in now and then. It is, in short, web hosting with the hard parts removed — and it is good at that.

Where tiiny.host is the better choice
Genuinely, not as a courtesy.
- You want it to stay up. A portfolio, a resume link, a company page. Their free link lives as long as the account does; ours is built to expire.
- You want your own domain on it. We do not offer one, and are not going to — a deliverable does not need a domain.
- You want to know who looked, and how many. Their analytics are real. Ours is a number.
- You want to edit in place, add a team, or capture emails. All theirs, none ours.
- You are hosting a small site with modest files. Under 75 MB and public, their Solo plan is a reasonable, well-made product.
Where Filyhost is the better choice

- The file is big. A 1 GB file is free here. On tiiny.host it needs Pro, at $31 a month — Solo stops at 75 MB and Free at 3 MB.
- You would rather pay once. $29, and it never renews. Their cheapest plan with a password or a domain is $156 a year, every year.
- Your client needs to send you things. Nothing on tiiny.host does this. An inbox is a link they upload to — full size, no email limits, and you are told the moment it lands.
- It is not meant to be public. A free link here asks the viewer for an email before it opens. There, that is a paid feature, and the default is anyone.

For sharing files with a client, yes, and usually a cheaper one. For hosting a website you want to keep up on your own domain, no — that is what tiiny.host is for, and Filyhost does not try to be.
Can I host a website on Filyhost?
You can share one. A zip with an index.html unpacks and works, which is right for a demo or a build for review. But links expire, there is no custom domain, and the site is served in a sandbox. If you want a site that stays up, use a web host.
Does tiiny.host have an inbox?
